me and the precious had a little disagreement on friday. i wanted to keep on riding and the sled not!!!! stripped the diamond drive and locked the track. couldn't tow it, tried with king kat ron's M1000 but with the track locked was no use. got ahold of greg, he was staying at diamond, he had a tow buddie and went up there to borrow it. he offered to head up right there and then, let me use one of his 700 rmks and went with me and we towed it off the hill. then king kats 1000 goes down and we end up with greg once again to the rescue!!!! i cannot say THANK YOU enough for the help. he kept on saying polaris is "the way out"... greg just took over the polaris dealership around eugene, thank god would have hated to be towed by a doo so if you need anything look him up, well unless you need ac parts...

It was a sad day in A/C land.... If you need a sled for new years just give me a shout. All I require is a down and take over payments. Anything to help a buddy out you know.

How many miles on the diamond drive Ron?

4,003 miles. the gear that runs the spider gears stripped and bunged up the inside spiders. the one planetary piece that holds the spiders is over $350 alone!!! plus the bdx gears $200, bearings, seals, ended up being only a couple of hundred cheaper to rebuild and the planetary is on backorder. am gonna run the new one as is for this season then will be putting in the bdx gears over the summer. should have tore it down at the begining of each season but i change the fluid at least every other ride and there was never any contamination. lesson learned!!!

As INDEEP has stated previously these were extremely mild duty trail miles and really can't be entered into the equation.
