Thanks Ridecats, didn't know you where a fellow guard member. Not that I ride with the Guard but I try and make it to events and stand the flag line for all the services and welcomes I can. Let me know next time your gonna, take part in a ride, be glad to meet up.

I'm glad to see that there are so many good people willing to step up to help, when the worst of humanity rear their ugly heads. They probably moved on to another rental to do it all over again. I'm glad he had a happy home coming instead of arriving home to the trashed home.

That is awesome....i got to meet with some of the patriot guard riders when I was home not too long ago. They mentioned something about this. Welcome home boys!

Read this in the paper the other day. Thanks for postin Nole. Sure wish the Gaurd had dirt bike rides. Guess I will have to keep saving pennies so I can get a street bike and ride with em.

here's something I ran into the other day, guy who started this is a marine...we emailed back and forth a couple times I thought it would be cool to help him out somehow and get him to get a trip or to out west.

Hey X you don't need a street bike to take part in the rides, You can stand the flag line like I do, along the ride. Alll you need to do is register, patriotguard.org, and mnpatriotguard.org. They will send you updates as to when the missions are going to happen(and details about where and when to be there). And where and when to stage. Can't say I have ever been more happy to hold a flag pole in one hand and shake a soldiers hand in the other as they come home.

X let me know if need more info, as would glad to help you out.

Never heard or seen that site before Meat, I am going to pass it along to the Patriot Guard site, and hopefully get it linked on the national site. It screams what the Patriot Guard is about, during the winter months. If have not said before, thanks, come home safe. Tell everyone we appreciate them and the work you are doing.

Meat I have emailed the national Patriot guard about the above mentioned site, I want to believe/think they shall ad it to their sites for soldiers and members to see. Hopefully they shall be able to not only accommidate a soldier with the deserved hero's welcome home, but maybe a sled trip, which they need. Even if home on leave, you al need the break.
I hope it comes through, if not I shall make sure of it, you soldiers need the touch of home, be it sledding, while your home..
