I'm sad to say that Shelly Hanson was taken from the sledding world suddenly 2 weeks ago, from unknown causes as of yet. Shelly was an avid snowmobiler and very well known in central BC as a hard core drag racer....snow and asphalt. She was the kindest and most positive person you could ever know. She left behind her husband, Brian, known to us all as Tukernater....who could use a little help form his sledding buddies. Please see the link for their story.

Oh no....so sorry to hear about Shelly. I remember seeing them at a few races over the years. That's horrible. I didn't realize Brian is Tukernater either. Prayers indeed.

361 views x $10 a view is $3610 towards a fellow snowmobiler that is real need. To those of you that donated, thank-you, it is greatly appreciated, to those of you that read the post and story and didn't...put yourself in his shoes and reconsider. You don't need to know someone personally to lend a helping hand.

This is a guy that has dedicated his whole life to his sledding community and never asked for anything in return. He will never stop giving and the loss of his wife will only make him more determined to carry on and help others. Even as a paraplegic for almost 2 decades, it has never slowed him down and he continues to ride, build and help others.....now he needs our help.

If only every Snowester donated $1....
