Well, went to the tobacco roots this weekend in search of some good snow, Found some half deep fresh and some hills to climb. The video from the bottom is right as we first showed up at the begining of the day. Josh is sorta nuts and will hit some pretty nasty stuff. He knocked it down first. We rode more then found the top of it and all dropped down, then I climbed the main chute into the top. we scoped out a steeper line out the top. again, josh rocked it first, barely eaking out the top, but showing the full tractor power of the t-900. I went at it the first time and wiped out. all I broke were some zip ties on some plastic and somehow broke my afr gauge?? got the sled started, got my nerve back up and took another blast at it. that hill is STEEP!! doesnt look it but the last 100 vertical feet are STEEP. it lipped out at right around 60 degrees. went home and started looking at google earth and found out the thing is actually a tiny waterfall at the top.. hence the waterfall chute.

first ascent

me hitting the easy part
tractor power
epic crash
making it on round 2

Nice watching the sled rolling back down the hill from ya.
Glad it don't go all the way back down.

i pushed it cuz I didnt want it parked upsidedown... then it started rolling. oh well, it was fine. just gives you an idea.. that part of the hill looks flat. and it got a LOT steeper near the top.

Ya, from the video I was surprised the sled would roll, it doesn't look like your really on the steep section yet.

Nice that there was no damage though!

Sweet videos, it is probably a good thing that i did not go otherwise i would be building a turbo setup for my sled right now and scrapping this whole school thing!!

nice...you can tell the crash gave you a nice hit as you didn't even go after the sled.

thanks for sharing!

funny...we ride that area quite a bit. watched one of the dudes we ride with catch HUGE air off the top of that thing...then turn around and air it out comin right back down. pretty fun little chute though.

yeah, its sick.. you know how steep that top lip is.. if there was something to land on I would be more willing to try and jump out the top and land on something, but to flat into that narrow little run in thing, not so much.! if the weather cooperates we might be back next weekend to work on some more lines up there.. the 2 mains ones were fun, but if thats all I was doing I bet i could do a bunch more, just takes a while to get the balls up to knock down a hill you have never done.

Looks good. thanks for putting those up. The 9 still has something its holding back. Once i find it, Watch out haha

oh yeah... it was really impressive to see him creep over the top. from the bottom it looked like it was coming over backwards.. but the master sneaked it over the top.

the snow at the top was kinda hard from the wind ripping over the top, and the poo track was not in its happy place.. that was attack 20 turf up there!!

ha you really need to come riding with us we use that shoot for clutching thats like wearing your life jacket in the shallow end of the pool:fish2:

We might not be looking at the same place. There was no sign of tracks on the thing that we could tell for quite a while and we havent exactally had a winner of a snow year.

ya, i agree...alot of ppl have made it over the top of that thing. granted, its a steep pull no doubt. but, ya this thing is pretty mild compared to some of the things our group, and others, play on

Gosh my helmet looks goofy. I need a new darn visor. Honestly were not really into hill climbing. Thats just when the camera comes out. If there were trees the width of the skis on that hill, I would have been in heven.

no kidding, climbing hills scares the crap out of me.. why do I have boost? once I knocked it down the first time I could have hit the main part over and over... im just not into huge hills.

I wish I had a picture of where you got stuck in the woods Josh!! picture looking around and not even seeing a line worth joking about.. just woods, asking, dude... wtf? where were you going?
