A few pics of Gold Creek Jan 13th

That Guy

I've rode with that guy. Still looks to be taking to the bunny hills though. Wish we could have had some sunshine on Sat. up there. Lots of deep powder. Glad you all had fun....PB

Ohh,ya just had to post pics on what I missed!!! Damn it sucks to be responsible and work when I should....:face-icon-small-win

Glad ya had a good ride, how did Brents sled work??

From how packed the parking road was, I thought it would be slammed.

We rode back through the lake Lillian area & broke trail.
There we found several pulls & acres of meadows of untracked powder which was fantastic, along with the sunny skies.
We rode back there all day - blew through a 3/4 tank of fuel & never saw another sled!

Great day at the Creek...

I missed out today, you guys suck.
If you want to get an idea how tall Yamamaler is, add this, 2" extra of steering post, 8" risers, and 2-3" of rise in the handle bars. 12"-13" of total riser and he still had to reach down for the bars.

Oh ya. I hopped on YM's sled to go for a spin and the handlebars were clear up to my boobs! Hard to control like that............. hehehehe

Proceeded to take it up hill, got kicked off in a rut... got the sled stopped, but pointed up hill. Pulled it around and sent her packin' down the hill w/o me. :)

Brent's sled... still not good. Acts like it's fat, but he got drastic and threw 400's in there and it STILL does it's thing. :( This is ONE MEAN GREMLIN. :(

Driving out and seeing all the people, trucks, trailers, dogs, etc... HOLY CLUSTER!

What a day, fresh snow and sunshine and a great riding partner for the afternoon - pretty tough to beat a day like yesterday.
Great pics B, thanks for posting.

No more snubbing, I promise....LOL ;P

Rosco, I did manage to take a couple of picutres with B's camera. :)

I felt bad for Brent having to wait around but that worked out great for me....

Sunshine

Had a killer ride up there also on Sunday. Nice seeing you again Lee, and Brandy. I saw the famous ghost ride you are talking about CG first hand, glad no damage to YM sled.

Brent's sled running fat.

I don't know why but my buddy (UBR 950) had the same issue last year and we tried everything, turned out the motor mounts were shot. Can't understand how it made the sled run like it was fat but that's what it was you might want to check it out. Just a thought.

When your motor isn't properly held down it allows to much flexing and takes your clutch out of alignment when under load. Just sitting it looks fine (alignment) but get on it and you'll see the engine lift and rotate.

Anyhow. Think we got Brent's figured out. The wiring on the pick up was severed. Did you guys hear a halaluya clear over there........................................??

Big- good to see you too. Thanks for coming to my rescue, twice. :)

Jackson, I used that as a reference since most of you know how tall I am. ;) :P

Thanks for the idea...but I found a severed wire on the ignition pickup under the silicone protection.

This has been the most frustrating gremlin I've ever had...tried changing EVERYTHING electrical!!! Figures is turns out to be something simple and stupid. Oh well, I guess this is where "experience" comes from.

At least Brandy and Lee got to ride in the sun and POW on Sunday!!
