Well, i think i have about 600 mile on the turbo and suprizingly no burn downs. Very happy with this being my first kit ive built and all. There are a few things i would like help with.

1. My exhaust valves will not quit leaking. Brand new gaskets and bellows for the last two rides and they still leak like crazy. Out of the outter edges of the bellows and i think a little out of the bases still. Exhaust pressure maybe?

2. At WOT the check engine light kicks on. Cant really look down and stare but it looks like just steady flashes. Any ideas? Will the DET sensor kick on the light? No signs of DET on the pistons.

8000 RPM, 8000-10000 ELEV., last run out was 50/50 110 / 91

Thanks Guys

Do you think it would be ok to put a little RTV on the edges of the bellows to seal them up? If not what else is there to do?

check to see if there is slop in the exhaust valve when its in the base .I changed mine all together. I put a seal in mine around the base where the valve goes in and drilled dif holes. now they stay open a wot. but check that slop as they wear out there.

Will do. Thanks. What do you mean by Drill different holes.

I put a seal in where they slop out, where the valve runs up and down in, from a outboard motor seal , and the holes that are there had to be redrilled.on the outside on the top of base,I was looking for the pic I had but can't find them .if I take it apart again I will take pic's

My t900 did the same thing . There is more pressure on the valve caps from boost. So I took some 100 grit sand paper and by hand sanded down the under side of the exhaust cover to create more pressure on the belows sealing edge. There has been no problem since . I did it to both , tried sealant but that did not work.

regarding your flashing light . what was the code? If you have the air temp sensor in the intake box this will cause that. The sensor must be outside of the box . I zip tied mine up be the front of the sled. 8000 rpm I think is a little high. I run mine @ 7700-7850 rpm @11 psi

Mine still seeps a little oil past the crank seals from boost pressures

Thanks guys. That is what ive been looking for. I know what both of you mean. I just found out that the temp sensor is not supposed to be in the charge box also:doh:
Ill get that fixed asap.
