It's sad to see it so bare but it is making for some EPIC single track riding.
Only had the cell phone and I think the lens was frosted over, cause the pic's really suck. With the dry weather next week it should make for a great week of riding on the bikes. We first ran up the road up to the pole line pass to check out snow levels, found a few patchy areas but the road was mostly bare. Then we went back to tibble fork for a quick run up the 40. We hit trail 40 at the inlet of tibble fork reservoir. Road up the 40 until we hit the 41 and took a left up the hill to the 252. We then road the 252 all the way up past the highway twice up to the summit parking lot and back. It was a great ride with very little mud, a little frosty in section which made for some slick conditions and mother nature has dropped a couple large logs across the trail that lay about 3 feet off the ground on the 40. Other then that the trail was awesome and will only get better with the dry weather this week. Let me know if you want to go ride this week.:beer;

Once again the camera only came out if we were stopped by an obstacle or back at the truck,.

Wow, is all I can say. I pretty much wrote AF off for the year.
Thinking Cherry Creek the 17th.

So the big question. Over or Under the quake?
I'll need to mount some new tread if I consider riding there next week.

BTW: I won't report you to MU. LMFAO:eek:

Over the quake. a lot easier on the way back down.

Haha, the mud was very minimal, we were good to the trail.;)

Lets hit it up this week, it is perfect. Rode it on a worn out knobby
and had no issues. I will be slapping some new rubber on the back this week.

Lets talk during the week. I'm sure Marc will be game too. :face-icon-small-hap

what about me ron... I'm game, preferably a thursday afternoon ride... it's the only night I don't have school!

The trail you stated as 40, is that the trail across the parking lot on the other side of Tibble? Like you said it is at the inlet of the reservoir right? How did you access that? I used to ride up there a lot and always loved that trail. We would have to cross the water to get to it. I thought that used to be closed to motorized, but I always rode it. I haven't rode my bike up there for a long time though. I was just wondering if it has changed access wise?

Two access points from Tibble. 41 is accessed by crossing the damn. 40 is accessed by crossing the river just above the Res.

Anyone up for moab this weekend? Leave friday afternoon come home sunday afternoon?
