A day with my little girl in Island Park

You know, there are some things that money just can't buy.
But having enough money to have a sled for your little girl sure is nice!

Spent the day chasing my 10yr old daughter around on her phazer as we tracked up the fields and meadows of Island Park.

Ya, it would have been more "fun" for me to be up in the high country, but all things considered, how often do we get a chance to spend a full day on the snow with our kids!

My little girl had a BLAST.
She had fun all day long.
Didn't get cold.
Didn't get stuck.
Didn't get scared.

All the key ingredients to her developing a love for this sport of our's.

And by the end of the day she was darting off the trail and into the trees without any encouragement from me.

A day well spent!

!!

Thats awsome chris i cant wait to take my little girl out for some fun!! Shes only two and another one due in june so i gotta get these girls carvin some serious pow soon!! Awsome for u man!!

By far one of the best pics I have taken this year. There are times when the 'big boys' get to go ride, but I have had a blast letting my little guy scoot around on the 120. They are the future of the sport. Start 'em young!!

Thats a fact!
We all need to make an effort to get our kids into this sport if we want it to continue on into the future.

I really enjoy and cherish the time I spend with the grand kids riding. Even when they hit the kill switch at the wrong time. Its always fun and exicting day. We all need to stop and take time for the younger one so the sport can keep going. It was great watching the kids learn and can't wait for the grand kids . Grand daughter keeps asking when I'm going to get her a sled(I'm looking ). It truley has become a family sport in my family.:face-icon-small-coo

Family Fun

I could write a book about the fun you could have with your family if you are lucky enough to have a bunch that enjoy it together. From the kids on the kitty cats with 2 sleds in tow and around the house and 4 tanks a gas a night. To the 2 1974 SS 340 colts they moved up to. Till now they come and are grown up and get you unstuck when you have those senior moments and need help. Now the grandkids riden the MX120 and thinkin they are real snowmobilers.
I even found a 1974 340 SS colt a month ago with a seized motor for 50 bucks that 150.00 bucks later and a whole bunch of time with the kids and grandkids in the shop getting it going. They can't wait to ride it.
This is what family is all about is these times, who needs friends when your family is your friends. Don't get me wrong love the friends, but the family is the reason to keep spending the money.
There is one problem and that is the comitment to have it all and afford it.
It will be a sad day when we decide or have to give it up.
Theres my short book. Have fun everybody and be safe.

That is awesome! Here in MN we have had absolutely ZERO snow all winter long. My daughter and I both miss the trails, rink, and down hill sledding this year. Those winter fun times are priceless.
