A/c ripshaw track on Polaris won't work? WHY

Need help? I put a 2006 A/C crossfire ripshaw track on my son’s 86 Polaris 400 sled. After about one revolution of the track the drivers want to climb over the next track clog. This track has what looks like little speed bumps where the driver runs on. Does the A/C crossfire have special drivers to run this track? Both sled and track are 2.52 pitch and I’ am using 9 tooth drivers. Why won’t this work?

Thanks:mad:

My buddy ran into the same thing trying to install a Cat Ripsaw on his ProX last night. Would go about 1 revolution, then bind up. The problem is in the drivers not being relieved to accept the ridges. The lug spacing is correct, but since the track is effectively thicker between drive lugs, the track advances less than it normally would for each driver revolution. In other words, the driver has to travel farther between each lug because it has to go up and down a small hill instead of taking a straight shot. While linearly, the pitch is 2.52, since the driver has to roll up and down the ridge, it's actually a little more than that.
