I thought I would share my little mod from the end of last season. Tired of wearing half the mountain home on my back from Mt. Baker, I took a 2007 Ski-Doo belly pan and riveted it to the back of my newly acquired 503....works like a champ and cost me $50.....
That might work for cooling a 600 or 800, if the captured snow fell down on the track it would have to go up into the coolers. Could solve the whole snow flap cooler issue.
thats cool ,i have been thinking scratchers and ported track would help cooling as well, just in the way of always throwing snow on the track and ports to let snow through to the coolers, and now a nice tail like this
Just wondering if you have sacked out your suspension with that thang on there? Looks like the track would grab it from the picture but a new idea for sure
I haven't had any problems smacking the tail on the track....although I only rode 3 times with the tail on there before the season was over.....although we did spend a whole day jumping with the crazy MCC brothers and I didn't snag the tail either.....
We'll see what's left after this season, may just be a bloody stump by then
