Ordered up one of there 2871 ball bearing turbos for a buddy who I was helping piece a turbo kit together for his dragon. Very happy, installed it and got it running, the Turbo is of the same quality level of any of the garretts I have run, just now we got $400 still in his pocket to spend on race gas:face-icon-small-hap. Was out riding it and it spools up nice and fast. I will try and keep this updated as we get some miles on it and let everyone know how its doing!

Just trying to help out a new company as they are super easy to deal with, got the turbo quick, and was very please with what we got. glad there is another company now offering a full ball bearing setup besides garrett!!

check em out.

I Bought the 2863 so it has the billet wheel. Spool up time is great.
You push the throttle, and the response is excellent.
Jumped off my sled and on to my buddys N/A 2012 etec.
Throttle response felt lazy in comparison.
When you turn my machine off from idle, the turbo spools down for along time.
Its a great piece.

Sounds cool any power increase going to the BCW 2863 over base silber?

I did a true cold air intake at the same time as the turbo.
Flex hose may work fine, but looks so backyard.
Anyway I went up 2 grams in weight.
So where did I pick up the power from?
CAI ?
New turbo?
Little of both?
I think a bit of both.

Can these be rebuilt easily like some of the journal bearing turbos? Or do you have to replace the entire center section?

that i dont know! i would say give them a shout, they are super down to earth and have a good product, not just giant corporate structure that says you pay "x" amount for new ones and "x" amount for rebuild to cover the operating costs. I always loved my garretts, but $550 for a rebuilt center was a little steep especially considering i dropped $1200+ new

First day of tuning on the 2871 and we got it running without any lag!! comes in strong and smooth
