A Arms

well....got my first ride of the year on my 11' RMK Assault.....up in North Dakota, only enough snow to hit the ditches for a teaser, low and behold, i manage to bang up a lower A arm. Get to be the butt of many jokes by my Doo riding buddies:face-icon-small-blu:face-icon-small-fro Anyone know the prices on replacing one, calling dealer tomorrow, considering HRP kit if it's too spendy for just one. Any other aftermarket ideas?

my lower form the dealer for my pro was 180 so not sure where ur gettin 100 from. that site u listed doesnt even have the pro ride on it.

The stock A-arms are a little on the weak side. Same ones used on the IQ I believe. Might not hurt to spend the money now and upgrade to the HRP or Zbroz. Less headache in the future and a couple of bent A-arms will have it paid for. Just my thoughts on it.

After I bend one (and I always do) I switch all 4 to HRP. It's only twice as much as ONE stock replacement! They seem to hold up a little better than the stockers.

Personally I would rather have a little weak a-arm than have a stiff one that might bend and break other parts on the sled like the rev a-arms did. Too strong just costs you more to fix!

Agreed. The XP has strong arms and it's a pain in the arse and expensive to fix the parts that bend instead of the a-arms.

I believe I can get the whole HRP A arm kit, and shouldn't have any problem fitting on my assault, am I correct in that. I think I remember reading that the assault and RMK have different length A arms but switching the whole assembly should be fine???

the shocks will be a bit too long...

Good Luck with the aftermarket Kits, these new cast aluminum bulk heads have studs that fasten the lower A arms onto the bulk head, I can see them breaking off with a stronger A arm! turning a 20 minute job into a PITA with an easy out.
