Hey so I took my brothers snowmobile out for a spin this weekend and a rock decided that it wanted to meet me. So I tell him that I wrecked it and that i was gonna buy him some a arms but he says that they are firecat a arms? is this even possible on a 2006 M7 I know that they are not the stock m series but I just dont want to buy the wrong set. And why I dont trust him is because he is a little bit on the slow side when it comes to snowmobiles and bought this from a guy so he could have said something else and my bro thinks its a fire cat. Thanks for your help.

Why don't you just buy some M-series A- arms they would fit for sure...Its not that hard..Come on Doyle I think your a liitle SLOW haha:face-icon-small-hap

But then the shocks could be wrong. Measure the shocks, stock m shocks are 17.5" eye to eye & firecat are 19.5". Also stock firecat arms have a semi circle hoop on the lower arm right next to the spindle.

because then I would have to buy 2 sets because they are not the stock one or else I would buy stock ones but they are not the stock M series a arms Ryan:face-icon-small-win

Yeah they have the circle and thats how I know they aint stock m series. but the shocks and spindle are the same as my m7 its just the a arms that are different and I didnt know if they would be to wide to bolt on to the sled.

How do you know the shocks are the same, did you measure them? What is the length eye to eye? The zero pro's on both sleds look the same, just are different lengths & what MM said lets see a pic of these things.

If you have 17.75 (M) shocks on a set of the X-fire, HCR, firecat, or snopro arms the arms will sit almost completely level to the ground, whereas the M series will have some angle.

If they have the hoop on them, any of those arms can be used, they're all the same aside from color, but the snopro arms are cro-mo from what I've been told, never confirmed this so I could be F.O.S.

The ones that Ski-laxn has for sale would work just fine.

What color do you need? That would help determine which sled they came off of. Green would be from a snopro, I think all the firecats are silver, some crossfires were black, but mine were silver.
