A Arms

you have three options at this time...

wide front end from a yamaha short track all oem parts (used if you can find them)

wide front end from timbersled, from what i hear, they are in production now.

wide front end from zbroz.

ski

i got the timber front,,they say it has the better front end geometry, i have not tried it yet and im running fox floats,,,but i have seen two of those fronts broken at the lower ball joint weld sooo!!

Cr racing makes nytro A arms too. Not sure if they make wide ones but they do make a 40 and 38 inch stance . I'm going to give the 38 inch stance a shot this year :face-icon-small-hap

quick / cheap fix

widened the front on buddies phazer by shfting the spacers around the spindle within the ski saddle. simply put both spacers on the inboard side of spindle. i think you have to trim rubber bocks in ski saddle on nytro. made big difference in cornering.....$ 0.00 and only 10 minutes max.

Rumor has it, something coming for next year. Supposed to really change the way a Nytro handles up front.

Saw mention of it over on TY.

tried a zbroz kit before on my M7, it was killer. light, strong and bulletproof. my suggestion is don't go too extreme with the width as it makes it tricky to sidehill, but your cornering and overall stability will improve dramatically.

I have the wider stock ones off a 2010 MTX for sale, measure about 41" if i remember right. send me a pm or check out the swapmeet section

I'm going the other way I have the 40" zbros front and just bought the timbersled 39" front and sent them off to get another inch on each side taken out so that will make me 37" wide.

I had the skis in the middle position and had trouble laying it over in harder snow it seemed it was always fighting me trying to come back over so I took the skis moved them in like 3" and it helped a lot so now my thinking if I could get another 3" to 37" were I get the weight of the sled to help me then this sled would be more manageable.

The one thing I did notice is she's very tippy on the trail now but I didn't buy this sled for the trail and I put the 163 16" track now I wished I would of stayed 162 15".

The sled I have is the 09 Nytro with a Impulse turbo Zbros front easyride skid pushing 290 at 19lbs I want this sled to feel lighter than it is.

I might even go with a 36" front if I don't get the feel I'm looking for.

Probably not we have a summer sucks drag race here I figured putting it on there and you never know I might be wrong on the width it might handle like crap.
