A-Arm Glue

Deuce,

Do you have a 2013 PRO RMK with bonded A-arms?

Yes, the adhesive is the same as they use in the chassis assembly that has not experienced any problems since the release of the RUSH through the RMK's 2010-current.

I've NOT heard of any "soft glue" in any of these chassis components or suspension components.

If you are inferring that you have doubts that the adhesive is the same as that used in the QuickDrive... I do not know what specific adhesive is used in the Quickdrive, but have learned that it different from the 406/19GB that is used in the chassis.

Where are you going with this??

With all the bash threads related to "gluing" together the sled make sure you understand what is failing. That same glue that people mock is one of the reasons the sled is so light. It's an impressive way to manufacturer sleds IMO. It just has to be done right and there was a problem with the surface area on the drive shaft. I too wondered about the a arm deal but I swapped to Zbroz arms so I could keep my '11 X1's on my '13 Pro.

Its threads like this that really make it hard to enjoy the forums here. Have you seen one of the new a arms fail because of the adhesive? If you don't have anything useful to say then keep to yourself.

They already had a recall on bad glue for the sway bar mounts on the arms. Most we're fixed at the factory are the dealers fixed the problem before they hit the snow.
