9yrs , June 15 since Marc Fry passed away..

the original Extreme team rider, filmer,movie maker, editor,all around great guy... Passed away in a traggic sledding accident... just trying a short cut to get home at the end of the day... didn't even know the danger he'd put himself in.. Maker of 7 old school sledding vids,,, Snow Rock was his first, then the trillogy Snow Extreme 1,2,3 and then the Gravity Meltdown series, #1,and then #2 Road trip and last,#3 Adrenaline Rush..He was making sledding movies before the Slednecks series started...Can only imagine where we'd be if he'd still kept on with us...or what he'd say if he could see what we've been climbing since then...I'd never be the Krazy Canadian, had I never met Marc... I was always called Dangerous Dan before..

Marc never had a nickname, gave one to most the riders though... Big daddy, Stormin Norman, Turbo Don Lentz.. Shawn "the polaris hating" Hastings,, Super Dave Knight, Purple Hase,,,,Hesse,,,Finney I guess Josh never had a nickname either.. or BOB...or Reese,,,,,, anyway, I kinda liked the Krazy nickname...

His son , now 11 ,, looks just like his old man.. keeping the FRY goin..

It's hard to believe 9 yrs has passed... He's never forgotten in my world...God Bless you buddy, your deeply missed..

Norms doin good, raising his 18 month son... hasn't sledded since his son Dwayne was born, but he'll get back in it again soon..

I still remember when I heard about it. I was riding at HooDoo Pass (Ironically where Marc filmed a bunch of SnowExtreme 1 footage) riding with Steve86 and his buddies from North Idaho and found out that night when I got home.

Snow Extreme 1 was the first sled video I had ever purchased. I fell in love with sledding vids after that. I think I had bought about 86 of them up until about 2009. (I haven't bought one since for some reason. I don't know why.

He tried to cross a swollen creek at the end of the day...that wasn't swollen that morning.
He bogged and got carried down stream...and didn't know what was coming. He went over a waterfall.

I'm fine,,, miss Marc regularly... Hope I can see him again some sunny day down the road... Not sure how it'll all work out... but only GOD knows.. Thanks for asking...
