99 rmk indy 700 muffler rattle issue question

It is definately coming from inside, I've probed and originaly thought it was a loose shield. But here's the weird part, it gets quieter when it warms up. (due to heat expandsion?)

Not bad enough to shellout the money for a new muff.

Any thoughts?

lightweight can time or pipe. ready to tinker with the latter.

broken baffle inside will get worse the more it vibrates, mind did, lots of old pipes and cans at the sno show next week.............
