99 rmk help in boise

I picked up a 700 today that looks like it has the slp performance package. Twin pipes v force reeds slp head etc. I took a shot buying it from a guy who aquired it for a debt and really knew nothing about it. Since I'm not sure what happened to it before i'd like to go through the clutch/carbs to be safe. Would any of you tuners in boise want to help a guy with little knowledge of clutching and cleaning carbs????

Go onto SLP's website, or give them a call and ask them what you need to for setting up the pipes. (They will ask you your weight, riding style, etc., if I'm correct.) If you go off of the website, the installation instructions will pull up via PDF(<---Click) and should also tell you what you need to know.

As far as cleaning the carbs go, pull them apart and spray/wipe them down with carb cleaner, if you have an air compressor, blow through every little hole you can find on it. (I've always had to do this whole process twice...) Or you can soak the components in a gas over night and also blow them out. If you do not have air, try a welding tip cleaner.

My set up for WA (3-5k):
Primary stock blue spring 10-62 weights.
Secondary stock silver/grey spring and SLP 50/36 Mountain helix. Gearing 19/41.
This was with a SLP single and v-force. No porting and stock head. That set up rocked on a stick sled.
