99 RMK 700 Clutching for 2700 feet

Looking for advice on clutching my wifes 99 700 rmk. I am trying to get it to engage at lower rpm so its less snappy for her. I have new 60g weights in it and a dark blue spring and it engages at around 4000 rpm still. Which is still a bit high I think. The clutch has high miles on it so it might be a bit sticky from wear which might be part of the problem. Not sure if a lighter spring is the answer or if the clutch may just need to be replaced. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Got to a local Polaris shop, they will have a shop manual that shows all of the clutch springs and their rates. Find one that has a lower engagement but the same rate.

ex 140/330 high engagement
100/330 low engagement same rate

4K engagement is about right for that set up you have, that is for a SKS700 which I have in for my wife's sled. Primary: 10-60's and Polaris Blue, and secondary: R-11 Helix (45/36), and Polaris Silver/Blue. I believe the only difference is that RMK's ran a R-12 (50/36) Helix. To drop below 4K, you can either add 10-62 weights or change spring in Primary
