99 mm700 question (for all you Yammy Guru's)

'99 Mtn. Max, switched to Blue Marble last season, and now it smokes like a Jamaican reggae band! I WAS riding the edge as far as jetting is concerned, wondering if I should try to adjust the oil pump, or re-jet?

Please help, don't want it to squeak, it's been a real dependable engine. SLP triples and that's about it.

pre mix......oil pumps on mm are fat out of factory....

Check the oil cable, sometimes it sperates at the adjustment point allowing more oil to dump in. it happens sometimes on my son's with 3.5" risers. The sled will go through close to a full tank of oil on a day ride vs. maybe a quarter tank.

I don't see where it has separated....I don't remember how far it was supposed to be adjusted. Something like 10mm?

I think it's 21MM if memory serves.

That's my first thought as well.

The only way you can convert to premix is by drilling the water pump drive gallery so it gets oil. Trust me on that...

I appreciate the measurments. Don't think I'll be going premix as the kids take it out with their friends and I think they would gas it up, and go burn it down without someone to remind them.

How do I bypass the TORSS thing? I can't seem to keep it functioning properly. I have a teather switch so I just don't think I need both. Do I plug the wires back into themselves? Or how do I go about it?
