99 700 timing Q's

i have a 99 700 big block with v-force reeds, slp domes(6-9000) and twins, is the stock timing(6*) good or should i go more?
i'm getting a stumble at 5000 rpm and it doesn't seem to want to go past 7500 but this is at the mark on the housing, not checked with a timing light

Stock is fine... if you put more timing in it with your setup you'll probably end up having to run some race gas.
