just curious. are these trucks really worth that much? there's a 2005 duramax on here for $20,000. thats 7 years newer and not much more money. i looked at buying one of these trucks once and the guy was asking close to the same and my bank just laughed at me. i don't get it????

There's a crowd that thinks the 12-valve cummins is the best diesel engine... ever. The last of the fully-mechanical diesels. Everything between your foot and the ground is mechanical--linkage, cables, pumps, valves, etc. They are reliable and great for mods.

A '98 12 valve will pull about %30-50 more resale value than a '98 24 valve.

I looked for 2 years for this truck....now 2 years after I bought my '97 12v you had yours for sale!
I wanted the 3rd door but everything around here was so haggered and ranch driven. Settled on my '97 with 130k. Love the truck but woulda bought yours in a heartbeat!
