97 vmax guage update to newer style dual guages

My step son and I purchased a 1997 vmax and a wrecked mountain srx, we are doing a conversion on the vmax and we both like the dual guage setup on the srx and would like to fit it the the vmax wiring harness. Just wondering if anyone has done this before and might have some wire color codes or tricks. I was hoping that it would just plug in, but that is not the case, the dash cluster fits the vmax hood and just updates the look of the sled. Thanks a lot for your help.

Never mine I fixed my own issue, unplugged the pigtail down by the front bumper and plugged in the other harness from the mountain srx and it work perfectly. I like the double guages better because they are larger. thanks
