97 MXZ jetting

Okay, my friend has a 97 MXZ 670 that he wants to take to the Black Hills of South Dakota. The elevation is about 6000 feet. The question i have is that when he went to get jets for it, they gave him two different sizes. I believe they are 240 and 220. Is this correct because I've never heard of a sled with different size jets in each carb...Any suggestions would be helpful.

Yes, this is correct by Doo's standards in the high alt manual. They use staggered jetting (a lot of sleds do) from the PTO and MAG sides.

His sled specs are on pg 206 and 207. Doo is actually saying 240 and 210 PTO/MAG. Check plugs to make sure.

Last weekend, here in the hills I was running 300-310 for 0* and 6K feet. But, my 670 is from a '93 Mach 1 and doesn't have the HAC or DPM or anything so I would imagine yours will be different.
