97 mm700 electrical question when starting

I'm currently getting my sled ready for the season and for some reason I cannot remember if the water and oil gauge lights are suppose to turn on for a couple of seconds and then back off after I start the sled.

If anyone out there owns a 97 mm700, start your sled and help me put my mind to rest.

it does something on my srx it goes threw a check

I just started mine and neither one comes on but I thought it did when it was new. Maybe it was my buddies 01 that comes on because they had digital ignition from that year on.
