97 670 slightly modded, whats it worth?

I am considering selling my sled, but I don't really know what it is worth, please tell me what you think.

1997 Skidoo Summit 670
twin SLP pipes
domed heads
144x16x2 track
6" handlebar risers
Simmons skis

Only about 500 miles on complete rebuild, new track, new suspension, clutch work.

This sled rips and has never let me down, starts easy, great shape cosmetically and mechanically.

It sucks they are not worth much--I have a ole 670 that is a full on moddy--kept it because I could only get $2200 3 years ago.
I was a bit disappointed, but that is the nature of our sport.
The new sleds from 04 on have killed any value of the older sleds, they are either for kids or trail riding for friends--so no one wants to spend much for them.

$1800 is about right depending on your area.

In fact I am looking for a REV with a blown motor to put my 670 in for a summer project.

But they still run and once they are dialed, some even run really well and beat up on the newer sleds........

I've had 3 670s and have LOVED them all.. NOSECONDCHANCES your right, once you get them just right they rock!..but the chassi cant hold a light to the new stuff.. us anciet sled riders have to toughin' up to beat the newer sleds, but it sure feels good when you doo!
