Halp! I had a bad gasket on the cooling manifold on top of the motor. I replaced it and now i need to purge the system.. I bled using the bleeder screw on top of hte manifold but is that all i need to do? The manual says something about a screw on the pump.. Where is that? The screw that is.....
Thanks! And heres to hoping for more snow. :(

there is a screw on top of the coolent rack losen that as your filling it helps to elevate the front of the sled

The bleeder screw on the water pump is on the mag side face near the top. It looks just like the one on the upper water rail. Just loosen it up and let it drain until you don't see any bubbles.

To bleed the system, you should elevate the front of the sled like jer said. Drive it part way up onto your trailer - tilt or ramp load.

Start the engine and let it run for a few minutes. Open up the bleeder screw on the water rail and let coolant seep out until there are no bubbles. You shouldn't need to let out much, but be sure to keep an eye on the coolant level in the reservoir.

Finally, it's a good idea to recheck it after riding it for a while.
