92 indy lite gt

Well the belt in this sled is for one year only, a carlisle max 1092, 42 3/4 by 1 3/16. in all the newer gt's it is an 1106, 43 1/4 by 1 1/4. It looks like my primary will take the extra width just fine and the extra length is because it rides a little higher in the secondary. Any one tried this?

I just bought a '92 for parts for my '94 and noticed the belt was different. The center distance must be different on the direct drive than the chaincase version. I did notice that the inner ribs were worn pretty bad like they had been worn off on the center of the primary clutch.

I could be wrong, but I didn't spend any extra time figuring it out before I started the disassemble job.
