just bought a 91 rxl 650,,,nice sled but with a problem of course..
ok..it starts and idles great,,,,but when i touch the throttle it boggs out and somtimes will quit...
today i took off the air box and under that was a fuel filter (im assuming) was metal and 2 gas lines coming into it,,,so when i took it off , the gas that came out was like brown and very crappy looking..
So i ran gas through it a few times and blowing out the brown color crap each time until it cleared up alot and put i back on to see if it ran any better..well the sled worked awesome for about 1trip around the yard and started to bog out again,,,which showed me a bit of progress...
so would that old filter cause this bogging out and possible for a new one to cure the problem,,,,,or has anybody else had this problem....any info would be great as i am an extreme new bee in the snowmobiling world and especially new to the snowmobile engine..thnksss very much for any info..
