900cc stall when change in rev/forward!!!!! what is the problem..anyone

Mine did that once in awhile,, always noticed after another fill up it stopped,, then randomly did it again.... my problem seemed to be old Preminum fuel in small town gas stations.
Other than that,, you will notice if you do a search on here,, TPS adjustment... Most will tell you check your TPS setting.

You need to make a tool for that though.... Nice to have one and understand it if you got a 9......,, Like 20 bucks from Radio shack components.

Read the stickies on top of the page, there is very explicit directions on how to make and use the TPS setting tool, right down to part #'s required.
The information is invaluable if you own a 900. The factory settings on the TPS left something to be desired. I re-did mine after following the instructions in the stickies, and it woke it right up. The throttle response is much crisper, and it just plain runs better all around.

Build the tool, learn how to use it.....you will be very happy you did

Belt to tight?? Creates just enough drag to make the engine stall when going from forward to reverse.

Had the same problem,turned my idle up a little using the adjustment in the cable works great now.

what does it idle at sounds like the idle is low try give it one hundred rpm then try reverse
