So I have been reading the threads on Sealing the VES Housing to the Shaft and re Drilling.

I get the concept. Becasue ---

My Sled had no VES Springs in it when I bought it. Ran rather erratic.

Looked at the NAPA 5133 online looks a little big.

Who mentioned the Dynaline R-20 seal where would I get some ??

#32431 is this the One ??

On the bold. I did, my father has a Dynaline seal kit and the R20 size fits perfect. Not sure where he picked it up from though, sorry.

sno_mo, wasn't that an o-ring you had installed in your pic ? If so, that's not going to work. What you'll need is a lip-type seal. The metal outer diameter of the seal will fit tight in the recessed area of the housing and the inner "lip" will seal around the valve stem.

Nope, it was just a highlight of where it fit using windows paint. But yeah it was just a o-ring seal. So I would need a lip-type seal? OK, I understand now. I was just using what I had at hand and never seen any pics so figured the part# was just an o-ring type seal. I will wait for the OP of the original thread to post a pic of the correct seal and part#. Thanks High Velocity for clearing that up.

No Seal Number yet ??

The Boat Seal mentioned might be viable.

I might swing by the Marina and have a look.

Still looking for a valid number on this --

Keep us up to speed
