900 top end

Iv'e been a lurker in here for quite some time, learned alot about these machines from this forum....have a 06 900, 06 700(wifes), and 02 800. All in all enough to keep me in the shop more than i would like. Think i spun a ring on the 9...strokes but one tough spot when turning the clutch by hand. Just got a top end kit...gonna start this week...any short-cuts/things to look out for? these things are packed in there tight. also have a oil leak on the 7 on the crank seal behind the clutch....do i have to pull the motor? not so bad...just clean clutches after every ride...let me know....

The 9 is pretty much a handful to rebuild, not much for shortcuts, take your time with it, mechanically & electrically. On the 7, I've got a hunch the oil could be weeping onto crank seal from EV solenoid vent hose, all over torque stop as well? Shop time it is!

if your taking the engine apart, obs do crank seals. use that 3 bond stuff polaris recommends, and only use OEM 06 polaris pistons. TRUST ME!!. and try not to torque the engine mounts to much as they tent to tear... check your engine mounts while your at it.
