Here are just a few things ive found so far digging around at my sled so far this summer. My bulkhead is cracked (inside and out) right behind my rear a arm mounts.

My rear suspention arm is cracked on both sides where the side arms meet the bottom cross bar. You can see where the greese squeezed out on the one side. Not exactly what you want to see when greasing your rear suspention.

Sorry for the Cell phone pix but i think they get the point across. Im sure ill have more the further i get into the project.

One more for fun, This is a 900 motor next to a 800 Dragon motor. These 900s are monsters.

Can you post some better resolution of pics of the condition of the Compfusion urethane pucks since they've been used.

I've seen cracking like that before... mostly on jumpers or crash victims.

Check the remainder of the chassis carefully... might just be time for a new chassis assembly... pretty affordable if you have a dealer that will cut you a break.

That was so funny to read... Its not really "crashing" if you keep going thought right?? This sled gets run into so much stuff, supprisingly a 4' wide sled doesnt fit between 3' gaps in the trees!!!

im suprised this is all that you found broken so far.. any plans on replacing that poor lower A arm??

haha It always looks like its gonna fit to me. The tighter the better. There is more stuff i just need to get it posted. The story behind the Compfusion motor mounts is a good one. They are 1 year old and have 1500 miles under there belt with a turbo. The reason they look like they do is that my rear motor mount broke. Not good to run them like that, I am very impressed they held up as well as they did as it also cracked all the way though the front cross member. Colin from comfusion is a great guy to deal with and has got the parts comming to me as we speak. I get some better pictures of them though

here are some more pix of the mounts. Pto side is on the right.

Here are some pix of the cross brace that cracked. Im just gonna weld the Compfusion plate to the cross bar and hope that works.

If this is a 900 things to look for AND were talking motor mounts........
I would recommend taping out and helicoiling the rear motor mount threads. Polaris is notorious for putting in not only a low grade bolt, but one that is too short and doesn't go all the way thru the mount. It goes in about 2/3 of the way and causes the threads to stress as the motor torques. I went to tighten mine when I was putting my motor back in and they stripped out at a little over 10 ft/lbs.

Tap out and Helicoil is super easy. Most connections on Boeing Jets are helicoiled, The engineers believe they are stronger than plain tapped out threads.

They work great for any stripped out threads. Your local Tacoma Screw has them.

Boeing uses heli coils or time-serts??

My engineer buddy may have said "helicoil type" inserts, I don't remember exactly now. I never heard of time-serts until I looked them up after you posted it.
Both look similar, I like the flange aspect of the time -serts, but that could be a drawback in certain applications.

TIME-SERTS

yes, This is what i was accually refering to when i said "broken rear mount". It happend to me on the MAG side which i beleve is the weakest one. Bad deal but got it heli-coiled now with a longer bolt and seams to be holding well Im gonna try to update the pics with some better ones. Hard to get good close shots
