I have to replace the stator on buds 900 rmk (05). I have the engine pulled, and the stator off. Has anyone gone the route of having the stator rewound? I have heard that RM Stator out of Quebec does a good job? Thoughts my fellow 900 brethren?
Just pulled mine last week also and thinking of doing the same thing. Stator still works and the only problem is the 3 main legs have gone to ground. Should be a pretty easy fix. Planning to drop it off locally this week to see what the verdict is...will let ya know.
