900 rmk front suspension

i have a 2005 polaris 900 rmk i broke the 2 a arms off and the front shocks. I was looking at walker evans piggyback shocks i was wouldering if their is any way i could fit them on my sled

I would like to know as well. I have a chance to put on WE racing shocks from an IQR. Will those fit on 06 700?

What ever you go with coil overs are going to be better for these sleds. The shock has to be 17" to 17 3/8" Center to Center.

You may check valving for the weight issue and if you are running a sway bar or not. Seems the Assault shocks can be rather stiff,but they can be changed......

All I ever hear is that the w/e shocks suck. I have not heard a single good thing about them.

shock woes

which way is up on these stupid shocks? reason i ask is a buddy lent me his stock shocks of his 900, and i mounted them on my iq racer writing up and he tells me they are upside down!!!! WTF? polaris mounted them with the writing upside down?

I have fox floats and they work well on my 05/900 with 55psi in them to stop side to side diving on dips.

I have an 05 rmk 900 and I just put a set of the piggy backs from a 09'

assult my sled, you just have to modify the upper shock mount because the

upper head is a little larger than the stockers.

Front Suspension Shot! Need some info!

Took the sway bar off my 06 700 RMK this year and my front shocks are done!!!!! No travel in them what so ever, so I need new ones. I don't have the money to buy what I really want, Fox floats, and was wondering if I could just get new shock springs? Can't find any info on the springs or measurements at all.

What do you all think?

Its more than likely not the springs... you just need your shocks rebuilt.

how much does it cost to have the shocks rebuilt?

have to make sure you have rebuildable shocks also. If you have the black Ryde FX shocks they can't be rebuilt.

The shocks from the 900 look like they are mounted upside down because the writing on them is upside down when mounted..
