900 RMK 159 bogging issues

Picked up an 06 RMK 9. I don't know much about the unit as it was a repo. I got it from the lien holder who knew nothing about the sled. It has 4 consecutive Wyoming permits on the hood so it was used out west, that's where I plan to take it in 3 weeks.

It needed some TLC, someone hit a stump or something.

So I got the body and suspension all in order and took it out for the first time, I'm at sealevel, to my dismay it it has bogging issues all over the rpm range.

It has an SLP pipe and ecu flash, SLP air box and Rad deleted.

It has 10-70 weights in the clutch, my Polaris book says 10-70 is the set up for 10000ft.

I don't know if the TPS voltage is set for 10000ft or 0-2000ft.

If the tps is set for 10000ft would that make it run poorly / bog at sealevel?

Everything else seams in order on the sled. I can't take it to wyoming for a week running like it is, Help

Thanks.

did you check your plugs? what did they show? stock oil cable likes to break and or stick alot on these sleds, so that is an easy first thing to check. tps could be out of spec, is your reverse working, what does the idle do? check your intake boots for cracks as well, could be letting unmetered air in through there. the slp intakes seemed to be very picky and needed to be sealed really good at all the seams, or it got kinda boggy.

Plugs looked ok, could go a little leaner even, they were dry but more black that brown.

Idle is high, 2300, that's why I was think about the tps being set for elevation leaning out the idle mixture. But I don't know what changing the tps voltage does exactly.

I had the slp air box out to do the new nose pan, it looked good, not much to it really.

Intake boots looked good and oil pump cable was good.

I really looked it over good since I hand a lot of the body apart.

dd you clean the exhaust valves? fresh gas in the tank or added some isoheat to your old gas? Fuel filter been changed?

Found problem, when I replaced the nose pan I didn't notice that you needed to cut out holes in the left and right sides so the SLP air box can get enogh air. Punched some holes with a 3" hole saw, took it for a ride, runs great!

New question, the front radiator was removed to accommodate the SLP air box, how hot can these things be run? On the way back from the lake to my house I ran 3 blocks of road, before I shut it off in the garage I thought I'd check the temp, it was 167. When does the idiot/hot light come on?

I didn't think to check it on the lake, 12" of snow and slush.

Whats the safe operating range?

Thanks.
