Is a 06 900 rebuild ok to do with Polaris parts? I know Indy Dan is the best way to go but are Polaris parts good enough for a reliable build?:faint:

The 06 pistons are the best, there is a crank kit availible for a reasonable price.......hell yeah! There are a few stickies you might wanna read on top of the forum and lots of help here....just ask! Go and study some be meticulous on your build and have FUN!!!

Yup, I second that. The new updated crank and pistons will work just fine and be reliable. If you run an SLP pipe than slightly less but better than it was from the factory. I have one with 1500 miles and one with 2600 miles using the original week cranks and the new one is much better.

if you buy the kit, still send your clutch in to Indydan to balace it. a buddy of mine and i both bought this kit, but then had dan do TM1 updates on them, both our clutches needed more balancing than what they came with.
