So I have been chasing my tail trying to get my clutching figured out on my 05 fusion 900 121x2 and I think I have finalycome to the conclusion that I am running out of gear. the stock gearing is 25 37 we put in 19 41 and it blew belts so I put in 20 37 and it doesn't blow belts but gets beat by every thing on the trail so I was gonna go back to stock any input on this the sled has a fire n ice intake v force 3 reeds an slp can and is pulling max 7500 rpm

have you checked the front motor mounts..

i have 18/40 gears and its been great..19/41 is a good setup as well

what belt are you using? 080 or 1115...they are diff and need the primary shimmed for what your using

hope you check the crank runout now that you blew some belts...death to that crank

Try something like a 24/38 or a 23/39. You'll be able to use the stock chain and it wont be such a drastic change, but will give you the low end pull you are looking for. 18/40, 19/41, 19/42, etc are for mountain sleds with long tracks and will do you no good whatsoever.

Keep in mind that most of the guys on this forum are setting up for mountain riding and their setups will absolutely not work for you.

I did check my runout after I blew the first belt I am using th 115 belt motor mounts are crappy 05 doing compfusion soon I hope and all the clutching has been closev I am running an slp green pink with 10 74 weights a black red secondary with a 66-40-46 helix I tried the 66 44 46 and the 40 pulls harder
