900 chain tensioner, work on 07 600 RMK?

So I need a new chain tensioner for my 07 600 RMK, and I know the 900 RMK had a roller one, can I use the 900 one on my 600? It looks like I can when looking at microfiche. Plus the roller is cheaper!

It's a bolt-in, no mods req'd.

In my TECH TIPS thread I recommend using the roller tension-er from the 2005-06 sleds into the 07 and newer IQ sleds.

That rubbing block tension-er that's in the '07 and newer sleds is a P.O.S. in my opinion, as it wears it turns the chain-case lube into a sludge-like mess.

Thanks Kraven, after 7200 miles mine is cracked on both sides. I agree, the wearing out of the sliding block material sucks, I usually change the lube at least twice during the season.

yeh i use the roller tensioner on all 4 of my sleds. they only came stock on the 05 900, but is a direct fit for all 05-10 IQs.
