I just talked to Paul Hurley at Fire N Ice.

He currently is out of the 900 intake/airbox kits and will not make more unless he can get some pre-orders.

Send him an email if you are interested in the kit.

He said that once he has enough orders to justify another run of airboxes... he will complete and ship within 3 weeks.

Available with or without the belt guard.

As a bonus...All SnoWest members who pre pay will get a free windshield intake kit.

Although they are listed on the FNI site they are not currently available.

but i just dont get why paul cant just keep them stocked or made when ordered...why phase them out...this is the 3rd year in a row he has done this...

The economy..

They cost a lot to make

Orders only trickle in .

Not that many modding the 900's

ETC ETC...

If people want them...He'll build them.... but he needs more than just an idea.

He was not going to make them at all last year... took some talking on my part ... the same this year.

Update on Fire N Ice intakes

I have an update for everyone on here. I just got off the phone with Paul and he only needs two more pre-orders. If he can get two more pre-orders by Nov 30 he will get them made and have them to us by mid Dec.

Price is $300 with the belt cover and $250 without the belt cover for those of us who already have an after market belt cover.

His website does not have a provision to buy it without the cover so you need to send payment to his paypal acct info@firenice.us with a note that you want to get the RMK900 intake with no belt cover.

If you are getting it with the belt cover and need more intake vents you can order off his website at www.firenice.us

I'd like to get one but have a couple of questions. If you get the belt cover where is the spare belt stored. Second, can you get one without the belt cover and if so will the stock belt cover still work. Third, I have a SLP pipe, will it fit with this.

1. you can rivot on a belt holder if you wanted to on the FNI belt cover

2. yes you can get it w/o the belt cover, there is no stock belt cover...but if you have a metal one, it can be used, but its very tight and when you lift it up top remove it, it will hit the intake for sure, but i use metal covers and just need to wiggle them out and they work fine...

the FNI belt cover has pins that slide out and you pull the cover out from the side vs up like the standard covers..

3. YES the intake will work with SLP...its by far the best combo on the 900s

looks like Sean answered this before I did.

F & I also sells a kit to space the boost box farther away from the pipe if you are using an SLP or CPI pipe.
