Looking for information about putting a turbo on an rkt 858 bb. How was the tuning, clutching and what not. What turbo kit amd size of turbo

Only 858 turbo I know of is owned and built by Bill Parks, he is in Evergreen Co. not sure he is on here much anymore, goes by BPARKS.

Goes by William Parks on FaceBook

Not judging but what's up w the 858? Not enough power. Just curious? That will be a monster. May take some fuel mods and other things to support power like that.

Wouldn't even consider it. You will need different cylinders, different porting, different head... And the list goes on. One huge advantage of the turbo is stock parts. If my motor goes parts are readily available.

Typically the rule is turbos like stock.

The time you spending tuning and monkeying around, you would have been better off riding and perfecting your skills.

Fuel mods???? What's that?

Eric Woog of VOHK did it 3 years ago, some information here. Starting @ post #13

Obviously I have no idea if he had some sort of a custom port package or alternate compression ratio to compliment the turbo setup, but I would get ahold of him if possible for some insight

I have not done an 858 turbo.

However, after turboing both stock and big bore skidoos, I would never ever wasted my time turboing a stocker again. The big bore turbo packages make way more bottom end and way more power per pound of boost. End result is you can run less boost at the same horsepower output, and have more bottom end. Makes clutching easier and builds a better overall setup IMO
