800R Squish

After installing the SLP head, has anyone measured the piston squish to see what it is? Rebuilt my 800r and am coming up with some scary numbers, seems out of range for pump gas, with the SLP head. Makes me want to run some race gas which the kit says you dont have to. Checked my stock head and numbers seem to be in range. Just curious what yall r seeing, number wise that is.....

what measurement are you getting with the slp? what about the stock head?

what set of domes are you running on the SLP head? What compression ratio is it? I have the SLP 0-3000' domes in my 07 800R and I run pump gas with 4 numbers of octane boost, so 93-94 just to be safe. But i have run just straight pump gas premium which is only 90 octane here but i wouldnt do it all the time

3-6000 domes. 8 hole base with stock head 50, with SLP 43

Id say run it. I think youll be fine.

043 just seems way too low..... Anyone else compare thier squish after installing the SLP head? Think I might have to have some machine work done to my domes.........

Spoke to the boys at SLP, they say between 040 and 050 is acceptable for the 3-6000 domes, case anyone else runs into this.
