800R inplace of 800HO in Rev Chassis, anyone done It??

Hello, I would like to know all of what is interchangeable from the 800HO motor that can be installed on an 800R to be put in the Rev Chassis Summit.

How many components can be used from the 800HO again and put on the
800R, I had one snowester say he used all the R electronic on the HO, was that the stator, flywheel, along with the mpem box and all the harness?

also will the HO Carbs and Reed valves interchange to the R?

would the stock HO pipes match up with the R pipe or is the Y pipe interchangeable also?

What is all you experiences with this swap of what you know will and won`t work??

I read of another snowester who said he got the Raves from the HO to work also is this worth it or is there alot of modification to get HO raves to work in the R ??

Any and all info is greatly appreciated and open for all discussion in this thread please...

you will need a complete 07 R motor ,wiring/Ecm along with the DPM. It will bolt straight in. The R carbs are bigger than an HO.Easy swap and you will also need a 07 pipe,Y,can. Might be a better option to find a blown 07 sled to work with then build a BB if you looking for HP and light weight.Raves will not interchange

If you go the route of the R-motor, I got a set of carbs, wiring/ecm dpm. left over from a part out.

I put the 800r in my 04 800HO down here on the flats.
The "best" way to do it is to use all the 800r parts.
I used all the 800HO electrical on the 800r. To do this you have to use an 07 or 08 crank. The keyway is different on the 09+.
I used a 08 case and used a mount off an 07. You need 800r exhaust. Complete.
For the raves Changed them back to operate like the HO. There are write-ups on DT and on here on how to do it.
I used the 04 carbs (42mm) and boyesen rad valves. 800r airbox.
This was NOT necessarily the best way to do it but was the most cost efficient.

Reeds/boots, stator pickups and flywheel are the only parts interchangeable. I've got each and every little piece needed to make this happen if you're interested in parts...let me know.
