800r in place of a 800ho

Is this 800r engine bolt at same places as the 800ho did?


The exhaust flanges are they the same place/angle?

The electrical connection is it compatible with the 800ho electrical?

ignition timing? need another ignition box?

The 2007 summit 800r plate fits rev chassie can be mounted on all 800r motors,
Y-pipe will fit but 800r revs higher so use 800r exhoust system,
you cant mix electrical if you have all 800r electronics use that,if not use 800ho harness
and mod 3d rave for pressure operation,timing should be similar both have 82mm piston same fuel,if you dont do alot of low speed crusing you can bump timing 1 or 2 degrees.

So you can keep all of the HO electronics then??? I assume that there might have to be a couple of mods if a 800R engine was going to be mounted in a ZX chassis, right (exhaust flange, y-pipe)?

Yes you can keep 800ho electronics if you mod rave for pressure only,not sure on zx chassie havent done that.
