Looking for suggestions on clutching for a 800 RMK 163 with the tss-04, will be running at 1500'. The sled will have either CS twins or a SLP single, air box mod, reeds. Gears are 19:43 but I have others if needed.

Thanks in advance.

If my memory is correct from 2010-2013 era.

60/40-.32 helix
Purple secondary spring

Blue pink primary spring
SLP mdx weights 67 gram base.
2 gram rivet in the heel.

Assuming you are talking about a 2008-2015 800.

Will hit hard off the bottom and hold rpm.

The stock 56/42-.40 helix can stall the shift when running heel heavy weights. (Lots of revving not much going)

I'm a big heavy guy at 230# and 6'2".

If you're lighter you can probably run a 62/42-.32 helix or stock secondary spring.

Thank you! I'm throwing together a hodge podge edge chassis mod sled, it was originally a non perc sled that I have converted. I have everything thing I need except helix/spring info for the secondary.

A stock helix and spring from any 08-15 800 wouldn't be a bad place to start either. (155/222 spring 56/42-.40 helix)

Tons of them around.

Good luck with your project.
