I currently own an 05' 900 RMk. The sled has performed flawlessly and the torque is stump pulling worthy!!! BUT, this past weekend i had a throttle cable issue... unrideable. My buddy whom also has a 900 RMK purchased a prototype 08' 800 summit X. I had riden the doo around the yard a few times but it was very "tight" and "squirly" i did not like it! SO, both my buds 900 and 800 were in the trailer and he was nice enough to let me ride one! I started out the next day riding his 900 somthing i was more familiar with but he soon wanted his 900 back to ride and as he was not happy with his 08 800 summit X. I was then forced to ride the doo. To my amazement it was incredible in the deep pow and the agillity and control were unexplainable! The 140 lbs was so noticeable I fell in love with the machine. The only issue was that it was NOT EFI!!! I often get so stuck that rolling my sled saves time and exhaustion on the mountian...well rolling the doo was not such a good idea as the efforts saved rolling it were spent on trying to start it!! So when will doo comeout with the summit X in EFI...I will be first in line when they do!
