So I picked up a 01 800 MC (cheep)with a burnt down motor, 1500 miles on sled. Second burn down in 100 miles PTO side both times, was running in Eureka with 420 mains and vforce reeds. Also was told it eats belts. I am at least the third owner. My question is I know they made two different 30mm clutches this year so how do you tell the difference in them? I am leaning toward a bad seal for the burn down since the MAG side is still good as well as the carb boots. any sugestion welcome.
