800 jetting trouble with Boyesen RAD reed cage... ?

:) Hello !

I have put in a new set of Boyesen RAD Reed Cage in my Rotax 800 ( 793 ) .

I was out testing the sled and discovered quickly that the engine is running extremly rich and sluggish up to about 5500 rpm.
And not so crisp when you flipping the trottle lever, even on a stand

Anyone here have some tuning experience with the Boyesen RAD reed cage on the 800 engine ?
and how to get it running right ?

My carb set up :

Fuel screws : 1,0 turns out
Pilot jet : 17,5
Main Jet : 520 N
Needle clip : # 3 ( in the middle )

Riding height : 350 - 800 Meters ( 1150 - 2700 Feet )

Any infomation regarding how to jet the Rotax-800 engine with Boyesen RAD reed cage would be greatly appreciated

HELP !

HELP !

with a change in reeds, there frequently is a change in the signal (pressure in the venturi of the carbuerator), this means you will have to adjust the fuel going into the machine by leaning out the fuel....smaller pilot jet, open up the air screw (1/4 turn at a time), changing the fuel screw one eighth turn at a time....the main jet should have no effect at low to mid rpms, it's not likely that changing the clip position will have any effect either....the main thing is to change one thing at a time until you start to get positive effects, and then fine tune
