800 HO - help with top end gaskets or kit?

I'm planning to get the OEM piston and jugs from country cat, but what about the gaskets? Are you guys finding and buying each individual gasket on country cat or going with a gasket kit from somewhere else?

I bought a top end gasket kit from them earlier this year when I put fresh pistons in mine. There should be a top end set and a complete set available.

The first thing I asked them for was a top end kit and they said they didn't have it. Asked if they at least have a top end gasket kit but said they didn't have that either

Looks like most of the engine rebuild kits are discontinued. I didn't even see one for the 800HO or the ctec engines. Bummer as that was a way cheaper way to go.

Man, that's $200 just for the gasket set. Any after market for half the price anyone can recommend? I like staying OEM but for gaskets...come on

I have always used Windersoa gaskets and never had any issues. I agree it would nice to use OEM but the cost is hard to justify since there really isnt anything to the top end gaskets.
