800 H.O. into Indy Chasis?

I think you will see the new motor in any sled that has the AXYS chassis for 2016. So if the Indy nameplate moves it will also have the 800 H.O.

no, rmk's will get the 800 HO next year and the indy's will have to use up the rest of the 800 CFI motor inventory before switching over. It may be 2017 or 2018 before the budget indy gets the 800 HO.

I'll make a bet poo puts a conventional tunnel on the Axys front end in 16 for the short trackers and switchback assaults, and sells a ton of them. If they want to keep up with AC/Y and doo on the flats, they have to do it. Poo was getting their collective butts kicked in the short tracks, the Indy has been the only bright light. Keeping the new motors with the pro ride might be smart for a year, but after that, they are just giving market share away to the others. Pure speculation.

I'm hearing that the AXYS cant be converted into a mountain sled just by sticking a longer skid and tunnel on it.

I haven't heard any elaboration on that.

Scott you must be serious, Triplication of that post. I was at the dealer yesterday and tore into the one PRO-S they had in the show room with the sales manager. I did not see anything to prevent that. It looks like the same CtoC distance as the PRO to my chagrin. I was hoping for closer to 9" CtoC. They may change the side plate casting for the mountain production sled to allow the taller paddle and a larger driver. If not mine will be.

I'd be interested in what you hear from your source (Shane) about the subject.
